Dr. Vanessa J. Weaver is host of the “Workin’ Out Podcast” and founder and CEO of Alignment Strategies, a management consulting firm established in 1991 as one of the country’s first independent organizations to focus on diversity as a business enabler. 

Dr. Weaver has decades of broadcast experience. She started in talk radio in the late 1980s, producing and hosting a weekly, two-hour live call-in show on KGFJ-1230 AM in Los Angeles. From 2015 to 2018, she hosted “Workin’ It Out,” a one-hour, weekly live talk show on HUR/SiriusXM Channel 141 that focused on D&I issues. Currently, she is the executive producer and host of the weekly "Workin' It Out Podcast," which can be viewed on the District of Columbia’s District Knowledge Network and YouTube and heard on Buzzsprout and a host of podcast players.
